Your 7 days Uganda Gorilla Trekking double and golden monkey safari will give a total wild double gorilla trekking experience in the thick impenetrable forest of Bwindi Impenetrable NP and the rolling hills of Volcanoes National Park, which is one of the hot spots to trek the gorillas and golden monkey respectively, both known for harboring half of the world-famous mountain gorillas. Day 1: Transfer from the airport to the hotel

Day 2: Visit Kigali genocide memorial & transfer to Bwindi: Travel time +5 hrs
Today after taking your early morning breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge and drive to visit the Kigali genocide memorial grounds, which honors the memory of the more than one million Rwandans killed in 1994 through education and peacebuilding. You’ll be able to watch and listen to some video clips from some of the survivors of the incident. Later you will proceed with a drive to Bwindi through the magnificent route to your booked accommodation to catch up with the late lunch and later spend the rest of the afternoon relax and prepare for the next day’s trekking. Day 3: Gorilla trekking Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the briefing from the Uganda wildlife officials and thereafter enter the jungle to search the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their lifestyle in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour gazing into their big round eyes. On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, sunscreen and hut.
The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movements of these primates. In the afternoon after your lunch, you will be transferred to another gorilla sector within Bwindi so as to easy your next day trekking transfer and have another experience of trekking a different group. Day 4: Gorilla trekking & community walk visit.
Today, after your morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for another wild gorilla adventure to visit a different gorilla family. As yesterday, the routine remains the same. After this gorilla tracking experience in Uganda, you will have informative memorable experience in life. In the afternoon, ready for a village foot safari to explore the indigenous local life, with a taste of the traditional performance. Diner and overnight at Ichumba gorilla lodge. Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day 5: Bwindi – Volcanoes (Travel Time +5hrs)
Early morning relaxed breakfast and short sightseeing experience for photography. Thereafter embark to your our safari vehicle and drive back to Musanze – Volcanoes, with a beautiful view of the rolling hills and several stopovers along way for photography and lunch and later transferred to Musanze where you will you have an overnight.
Musanze is region around Volcanoes national park were most of the lodgings are located as there is no lodges in the park areas. Volcanoes national park is very famous for the harboring the mountain gorillas and the shy golden monkeys that you will be tracking on the next day. Dinner and overnight stay at La Palma hotel. Day 6: Golden Monkey Trekking
Today after you warm early morning breakfast, you will be picked by our safari driver guide who will transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing and start off you day golden monkey trekking. Just like the gorilla trekking experience, the same applies to golden monkey trekking though no so hectic like gorilla trekking. You will later return to the lodge for lunch and later transfer to Kigali for your dinner and overnight stay at Quiet Heaven. Meal Plan: Full board.
Day 7: Transfer to the airport.
After having your relaxed morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Kigali airport to catch-up with your onward flight to Tanzania to proceed with your safari adventure in Africa. End of service!
