Detailed itinerary for 6 days Uganda Chimpanzee tracking and wildlife Adventure Safari
Day 1: Transfer to your hotel
Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be welcome by our company representative who will later transfer you to your booked accommodation in for dinner and overnight stay at Emin Pasha Hotel (Luxury lodge) or Le Petit Village lodge (Mid-range lodge) or Forest Cottages (budget lodge).
Day 2: Kampala – Murchison
You will be picked up by our company driver guide after having your morning breakfast and transferred to Murchison national park which is roughly a 4-hour journey via Luwero Triangle with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking on foot. This will give you a great encounter with the rhinos as close as possible on foot and you later proceed to Murchison with an en route lunch along the way reaching in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari lodge (luxury lodge) or Murchison River lodge (Mid-range lodge) or Heritage Safari lodge (budget lodge). Meal Plan: Lunch & dinner
Day 3: Game drive & boat cruise
Today, you will wake up with a cap off coffee and head later for a morning game drive in such for the early sun risers such as the buffaloes, giraffes, lions, leopards, hartebeests, kops, to mention a few, which will take you rough 2 – 3 hours and later return to your lodge for lunch. After lunch you proceed for a boat cruise at the Nile which last for 2 hours, having great chances to spot number of wildlife such as the crocodile, hippos, elephants and number of bird species. You will later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari lodge (luxury lodge) or Murchison River lodge (Mid-range lodge) or Heritage Safari lodge (budget lodge). Meal Plan: Half board.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After your morning breakfast, you will checkout of your lodge and visit top of the falls, watch the 7 m gorge, with a roaring sound and later get to your vehicle and drive back to Kibale Forest National Park with an en-route lunch along the way reaching in the afternoon to your booked accommodation at Kyaninga lodge (luxury lodge) or Kibale Chimpanzee Guest House (mid-range lodge) or Rweteera Safari Park (budget lodge)
Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking & Bigodi swamp walk.
Today you will be driven to Kanyanchu visitor’s center after having your early morning breakfast. Kibale National park is known as a primate capital hosting over 13 primate species alongside the commonly trekked chimpanzees including the grey checked managabey, baboons, red colobus monkeys, red tailed monkey, bush babies to mention but a few.
After briefing you will head into the jungle in search for this great primates where by you will be given an hour of interaction with them. After trekking you will return for lunch before heading for a swamp walk at Bigodi wetlands to see more primates and numerous bird species. Dinner and overnight at Kyaninga lodge (luxury lodge) or Kibale Chimpanzee Guest House (mid-range lodge) or Rweteera Safari Park (budget lodge)
Day 6: Drive back to Kampala.
After having relaxed breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and drive back to Kampala reaching in the afternoon where you will be either drop at your hotel or at Entebbe to catch up with your flight.
