Detailed itinerary for 5 Days Gorilla Trekking Biking Safari

Day 1: Transfer to your hotel

Upon arrival at Kigali airport, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will later transfer you to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. Accommodation options. Marriott hotel (Luxury lodge) or Chez lando hotel (Midrange) or Quiet Heaven hotel (Economy hotel). Meal Plan: Dinner

Day 2: Ride to Volcanoes National Park. Travel time +8hrs

Today after taking your early morning breakfast, you will be met by biking safari guide who will brief you shortly before you start riding to Musanze near Volcanoes National Park where you will have your dinner and overnight stay with an en route lunch along the way to one of the local restaurants. Accommodation option: Five Volcano Boutique Hotel (luxury lodge) or Mount Gorilla View lodge (Mid-range lodge) or La Palma hotel (Economy lodge). Meal Plan: Half board.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking & Cultural visit

Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the gorilla trekking briefing from the park headquarters and thereafter, you will enter the jungle with your packed lunch to search the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their lifestyle in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour watching their social life as you take pictures. On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, sunscreen and hut.

The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movements of these primates. After this gorilla tracking experience, you will return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, ready for a village foot safari on you bike, to explore the indigenous local life with a taste of the traditional performance. You will as well later ride around before returning to your lodge. Day 4: Ride back to Kigali

Today after your relaxed warm early morning breakfast, you will ride back to Kigali with an en route lunch along the way in one of the local restaurants. Accommodation option: Marriott Hotel (luxury lodge) or Flame Tree Village (Mid-range lodge) or Quiet Haven (Economy lodge). Meal Plan: Full board.

Day 5: Transfer to Kigali airport

You will be picked by our company representative from your hotel after having a warm early morning breakfast and transferred to the airport for your flight. End of service!
